Brief Summary of InService Course

The Academy design and offer short term specialized courses for In-service Police Officers of all the States,CAPF and other organization,these courses also offers Workshop and Seminars on contemporary and relevant issues which will help in ehancing the skills and knowledge of the personnel.

New participants since 2012 include MHA,NEPA,ITBP,SSB,Assam Rifles,BSF,CRPF,NSG,Rajya Sabha Secreteriat & Air Force,participants from other countries include Bangladesh and Nepal.

The duration of various courses depends on its curriculum.

Candidates are requested to book their to & fro journey tickets in advance befor the commencement of their course to avoid any inconvenience.For various courses the dress code will be uniform.PT Dress,Dungaree and civvie(formal) for Indoor classes.

The academy also follows strict rule of descipline in which violation of any provision could lead to discharge of the trainees from the academy.No leave will be granted for any trainee except for those trainees attending a long duration course that to if there is any unfortunate incidence. This leave will not be more than two or three days.

The Academy Library has a good collection of books and participants can make full use of the Library during the stay at the Academy.

Guest will be allowed to meet the trainees after the classes are over and frequent visit of guests are not encouraged.
